Cadillac Eldorado Brougham 1958

One of only 304 produced. These cars were hand-built by Cadillac, and this particular example has been fully restored by Hans Emeren / Autocraft in Vikarbyn Sweden, guaranteeing a restoration of the absolute highest quality. As you can imagine, an extraordinary amount of work and money has gone into this car — today, building something like this would be nearly impossible, no matter the budget.

The Cadillac Eldorado Brougham, introduced in 1957, was a monumental achievement from a car manufacturer at the height of its power. Packed with luxury and technological features, it showcased groundbreaking design — including a brushed stainless steel roof. Standard equipment included air conditionering, air suspension, power trunk opening, memory funktion for the front seat, automatic high/ low beam control and more — the list of features on these Brougham models is truly extensive.

For 1958 — the final year of this body style’s two-year production run — the Brougham-specific 365 cubic inch V8 engine was upgraded with three carburators increasing output to 335 horsepower — more than enough to move this imposing automobile with ease.

The Eldorado Brougham came with a staggering 13.074 US Dollar on price tag when new, and even at that price, Cadillac reportedly lost up to 10.000 US Dollar per car sold. But that hardly mattered — the model unquestionably reinforced Cadillac’s slogan and reputation as the “Standard of the World.”

The car costs SEK 2.800.000 which corresponds to about 254.000 Euro.
