Plymouth-Horizon

The Plymouth Horizon was a subcompact car produced by the Chrysler Corporation in the United States from 1978 to 1990. The Horizon was the first subcompact car produced by Chrysler, and was based on the Dodge Omni platform. It was offered in both two-door and four-door hatchback body styles, and was available in a variety of trim levels.

The Horizon was introduced in 1978 as a replacement for the Plymouth Valiant. The car was designed to compete with the growing number of subcompact cars on the market, such as the Volkswagen Rabbit and Honda Civic. The Horizon was available with either a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, or a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine. Both engines were mated to a three-speed automatic transmission.

The Horizon was offered in two trim levels, the base model and the upscale TC3. The base model featured a vinyl interior, air conditioning, power steering, and an AM/FM radio. The TC3 added luxury features such as power windows, power locks, cruise control, and an upgraded sound system. The car was also available with an optional turbocharged engine, which increased the power output to 90 horsepower.

The Horizon was a popular car in its day, and was well-received by the public. It was praised for its solid build quality and reliability, as well as its comfortable ride. The car was also praised for its fuel economy, as it was capable of achieving up to 25 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Horizon was eventually replaced by the Plymouth Sundance in 1990. The Sundance was based on the same platform as the Horizon, but featured a more modern design. The Sundance was available with a variety of engines, ranging from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder to a 2.5-liter V6.

The Plymouth Horizon is now considered a classic car, and is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. The car is still popular today, and can be found in many car shows and classic car events. The Horizon is a great example of a classic American car, and is sure to be a hit with any classic car enthusiast.
